Play Central
Dear Friends,
Happy fall to all my Play Central families! I hope you enjoyed your summer and all the fun and activity that went with it. I'm always amazed by how much your children have grown and learned over the summer. Can you believe that it's almost time for Play Central to begin again?
Play Central is a place for parents, grandparents and all caregivers to play with their children while socializing with others.
New this year: we are offering Play Central PLUS!
You and your child will have the option to join in a special play group run by Barnes' preschool teachers. A little taste of preschool for your child with group time and theme centered activities. You and your child are sure to love it. Come give it a try. Wednesdays 9-11am and 1-3pm; Thursdays 1-3pm.
Whatever days work out best for you, I hope to see you at Play Central this fall. We also ask that you help us introduce other families to Play Central too.

Play Central 2010-2011 Schedule
Tuesdays 9am-11am, The Neighborhood Club gym located at 17150 Waterloo, Grosse Pointe.
Wednesdays Play Central PLUS 9am-11am, Barnes Early Childhood Center gym located at 20090 Morningside Dr., Grosse Pointe Woods.
Wednesdays Play Central PLUS 1pm-3pm, Barnes Early Childhood Center gym located at 20090 Morningside Dr., Grosse Pointe Woods.
Thursdays Play Central PLUS 1pm-3pm, Barnes Early Childhood Center gym located at 20090 Morningside Dr., Grosse Pointe Woods.
Play Central will meet from November 2, 2010 through April 28, 2011 with the following exceptions:
- Plat Central runs according to the GPPSS calendar, so school holidays will be observed as buildings are closed
- Play Central will not meet any Wednesday that GPPS declares as a "Snow Day"
