Anti Stigma Forum

Northeast Guidance Center and Community Network Services is co-hosting an annual Anti-Stigma Forum promoting Mental Health Awareness Month.

The topic of discussion is the heinous crime of human trafficking that happens in every state, every zip code, every neighborhood. Human trafficking is modern-day slavery and involves the use of force, fraud or coercion to obtain some type of labor or sexual act.

Keynote speaker Theresa Flores, Survivor.

Mental health awareness is critical to improving the community's perspective and understanding of the challenges facing those members of the community, one in five, who experience a mental health or substance abuse disorder.

Light refreshments will be served

Please RSVP by May 1 to scommon@neguidance.org or call 313.308.1416
