Ask the Experts presenters and a panel of Teens will speak to improving communication in the tween and teen years. At Brownell Library.
Led by Emily Robson and Anne Nearhood, our panel will help parents and tweens/teens better understand how communication skills can help every day.
Erin Williams, LMSW: "Tools for Parents: How to Talk to Your Tween/Teen Without Resistance"
Mike Dib, PhD: "Key Points on the Difference Between Students Entering Middle School and Leaving Middle School in Regards to Peer Expectations"
HS Teens: "Teen View on the Impact of Parents and Peer Expectations"

HOLLYFEST is our popular holiday benefit. You'll enjoy time for socializing while bidding on silent auction items. Does your child lack the confidence to ride their bike? This course will help your child gain confidence to enjoy the ride while maintaining balance, pedaling and steering independently. More >>
Children will learn how to properly use language through fun and therapeutic activities in an environment that will promote and improve their skills and interactions with other children, while promoting awareness of self and others. More >>
Play Central sessions are offered October through May: Wednesday and Thursday, mornings and afternoons at Barnes Early Childhood Center on Morningside in Grosse Pointe woods. Just $5 per family per visit.
